Workshop: Norwegian Tunes for the Happy Jammer – Decorah, IA

$125Come and learn a couple of fiddle tunes from Norway with me. We will focus on good jam tunes that you can play with other Scandi musicians and that you can use for years to come. We might also dive into the ornaments and double-stops to achieve an authentic sound, and even some harmonies if we have time.
The class is suitable for intermediate and advanced players and will be taught on the fiddle. But all fiddle-compatible instruments are welcome! It will also be taught by ear, so bring a recording device. Sheet music will be provided after the class.
The local monthly Scandinavian folk music jam will join us during afternoon class to practice what you have learned with a larger group!
